We regularly ask patients about their experiences in hospitals to understand how we’re doing and how we can improve care. This information helps us to understand patients’ experiences in hospital, and to make comparisons about how and why experiences differ between hospitals, across regions within the province, and throughout Canada. The information collected from the survey is also used to make improvements to care delivered in hospitals, and to support hospital accreditation.

This survey is a provincial partnership between all Manitoba regional health authorities and the provincial government, and is part of a larger initiative across Canada that allows us to compare patients’ experiences across the country. More information about the survey can be found here.
