Guideline for Screening of Manitoba Health Care Workers and IP&C After Hours Contact
There are updates to the COVID-19 guideline for screening of Manitoba Health Workers effective April 24, 2020. All staff and physicians are requested to only call their site Infection Prevention and Control Practitioner or designate during regular business hours and Infection Prevention and Control Practitioner on call on weekends as per directions in attached updated documents. This is a change from previous practice directing staff to contact Provincial Occupational Health or Health Links after hours. Directors of Health Services and Program Directors (or delegates) are to review, implement and share accordingly.

New documents have been released providing information and guidance for health care workers with underlying medical conditions and potential risk factors for severe COVID-19. Directors of Health Services and Program Directors (or delegates) are to review and engage in the processes as required.
