A reminder of our responsibilities regarding FIPPA even during the current COVID-19 pandemic has been provided by the Regional Officer - Privacy & Access. Directors of Health Services and Program Directors (or delegates) are to review the memo.
Point of Entry Screening Tool
In follow-up to the March 25 Call to Action, the Point of Entry Screening tool has been revised.
Directors of Health Services and Regional Program Directors must:
- Assign an individual for point of entry screening using the Point of Entry Screening Tool for anyone requesting access to the facility. Note: Point of entry screening is not applicable to staff given that other screening processes are in place.
- Assign a designated area for those who do not pass screening that present for services and direction is required
- Assign a designated screening lead for the screening area responsible for following-up with those that do not pass screening that present
Improved Access to COVID-19 results
Further information to what was released in yesterday's call to action has been released about the online portal for COVID-19 testing results. Directors of Health Services and Program Directors (or delegates) please review and share accordingly.
