Infection Prevention & Control - Weekend On-Call

A document has been released providing Infection Prevention & Control weekend on-call contacts within Southern Health-Santé Sud.  Directors of Health Services and Program Directors (or delegates) are to review and implement accordingly.

Aerosol Generating Medical Procedures and Epidemiologic Testing - Isolation Requirements

A document has been released clarifying isolation requirements.  Directors of Health Services and Program Directors (or delegates) are to review and implement accordingly.

Child Care Accommodation Reminder

Directors of Health Services and Program Directors (or delegates) are to remind Health care workers of the options available if they are experiencing difficulty in finding a match for their child care needs.

Steps to be completed by staff applying for child care accommodation needs

  1. Complete the Family Status Accommodation Form
  2. Once completed, return the form to your manager, who will then provide a copy to Human Resources
  3. In order to apply for a child care centre space, complete the Essential Services Worker Childcare Request Form
  4. Early Learning and Child Care or a child care centre will contact you directly when a space is matched to your needs

If staff have not yet received a response, contact your human resources department and they will continue to work with the Department of Families on their behalf.
