The Power of Gratitude

hands with white mittens holding red heart and snow backgroundGratitude is the quality of being thankful, ready to show appreciation for and to return kindness.

The power of gratitude is really quite extraordinary. We usually show our gratitude to others when we feel indebted toward them, when we have benefited from their action and when we want to make our feelings towards them known. Gratitude is paramount to our overall well-being. When we experience true gratitude, we find appreciation in the abundance of our lives.

Author Brene Brown says

“I don’t have to chase extraordinary moments to find happiness - it’s right in front of me if I’m paying attention and practicing gratitude.”
