Point of Entry Staff Screening - PCH/TCC and Acute Care

A revised Point of Entry Staff Screening memoalgorithm and letter to provide to staff have been released.  Directors of Health Services (or delegates) are to review, implement and share with staff highlighting the importance of pre-screening before they are scheduled to work.  

Food and Beverages in Health Care Environments

A document has been released providing guidelines to support safe management of food and beverages in health care facilities.  Directors of Health Services and Program Directors (or delegates) are to review, implement and share with staff highlighting the requirements when staff are ordering food.

Another document has been released that is to be provided to Restaurants and Businesses who have donated food and beverage deliveries in response to COVID-19. Directors of Health Services and Program Directors (or delegates) are to share with these restaurants/businesses to ensure they follow the appropriate process.

Cyber Security Threats

As COVID-19 continues to evolve in Manitoba, Digital Health has seen a marked increase in
cybersecurity threats including Ransomware attacks.  To assist in protecting staff and our networks, a memo has been released.  Directors of Health Services and Program Directors (or delegates) are to review and share with staff that use computers.
