Call to Action - June 14, 2022: Staff Wellness & Health Booster Sessions - June 2022 Healing by Making Meaning

Staff Wellness & Health Booster Sessions - June 2022
Healing by Making Meaning

COVID-19 has challenged health system workers to change how we conduct ourselves in the workplace, our homes and our social connections. These changes can sometimes feel overwhelming.

To support health system workers, Shared Health and our Psychological Health & Safety Committee partners have brought together with skilled trainers from across the province to facilitate a number of Staff Booster Sessions.

The Staff Booster Sessions are short, timely and relevant presentations designed to fit into busy schedules. Topics include tips on stress management, self-care and coping with uncertainty. Booster Sessions are recorded and made available as a streaming video on demand.

Please Note: The Staff Wellness and Health Booster Sessions will take a hiatus through July and August and will return in September. If you would like to view any of the previous Booster Sessions, they can be found on the Shared Health Mental Health Resources page. Thank you
for your support of the Booster Sessions throughout the year.

Session Description
The presentation will take participants through an interactive exploration of the question,“Where are we now?” as it relates to the pandemic and the current challenges. Participants will learn about the importance of language and storytelling to make meaning and as tools that
support healing and offer protection from negative outcomes following difficult events.
