Personal Care Home Rapid Response Team Expression of Interest
Southern Health-Santé Sud is currently recruiting staff to join the Personal Care Home COVID-19 Rapid Response Team through an expression of interest. Deadline to submit application is December 3rd, 2020 at 1600 hrs.
Directors of Health Services and Program Directors (or delegates) review and share with staff that are eligible to apply and with PCH staff for their awareness.
Registration Requirements Flexibility
Communication has been received from Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living regarding correspondence from the Minister enabling more flexibility in the registration requirements for CRNM, CLPNM, and CRPNM.
The three nursing colleges have been provided with notice from the Minister under section 56 of The Regulated Health Professions Act.
The notice from the Minister enables them to waive or modify registration requirements to enable expedited registration of nurses registered in other provinces, who wish to practice in Manitoba to assist in the pandemic and in the case of the CRPNM and the CLPNM, former members of the colleges, who wish to resume practice to assist in the pandemic (the CRNM is already authorized to do this for former members).
