Call to Action - January 21, 2022 - Southern Health-Santé Sud Staff Access to Rapid Antigen Tests if not Located Near a COVID-19 Testing Site

Southern Health-Santé Sud Staff Access to Rapid Antigen Tests if not Located Near a COVID-19 Testing Site

Staff within the region that are not located in the same site as their program manager, and/or not located rear a one of the Regional COVID testing sites, can access Rapid Antigen Tests from the closest Southern Health-Santé Sud Health (SH-SS) service site/facility. This is inclusive of all SH-SS facilities within the region, with management communication (manager to manager communication is required as detailed)  to the site, detailed within the process below.

Process

If Rapid Antigen Tests are required by staff for testing as detailed from the guidelines from the Call to Action from Jan. 18, 2022, we ask for communication between leaders/management of SH-SS facilities and community programs to connect to inform of the community staff need, and request for the facility to provide RATs.

Please ensure the staff in need are not able to attend one of the regional COVID testing sites and this method of Rapid Antigen Test accessibility is required.

If site leadership not available, to speak with staff member in charge of site, to request provision of tests.

Leads/Directors/Managers (or delegates) review and inform staffing within facilities of this process.
